Abandoned drycleaning facility located in a strip mall in a mainly commercial part of Nashvile. The facility was constructed in 1984 and began operation as a drycleaner in 1985. The facility operated until 1991 when it became a pickup/drop off store. The facility used PCE during its years of operation. Prior to becoming a strip mall the site was occupied by a gas station and a restaurant, which were demolished for construction of the present strip mall. No private water wells or municipal drinking water intakes Remediation Status: In active remediation |
